
Tara Sherbert
Tara Sherbert has worked on real estate tax credit transactions for more than two decades. She has structured, developed, and invested in real estate projects valued at more than $4 billion, and she represents investors and developers on transactions nationwide involving historic, low-income housing, and new markets tax credits.
Tara led the development and construction management of Drayton Mills Lofts in Spartanburg, South Carolina — a $65 million historic rehabilitation that created luxury apartments and 60,000 square feet of retail space — and has led the redevelopment of University Center at Knowledge Park in Rock Hill, South Carolina, including the historic Power House.
She has been named one of the Charlotte Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business and a Woman of Distinction by Elysian magazine, and she is a member of the Zenith Group of the Women Presidents’ Organization. Before founding her own companies in 2006, Tara was a principal with the Reznick Group, where she led its real estate consulting practice.
