This quarter’s employee spotlight proudly features Fred Lowery, Housekeeper Manager at Drayton Mills Lofts in Spartanburg, SC, as he celebrates a remarkable decade of dedication with our team.
Fred Lowery joined The Sherbert Group 10 years ago, bringing extensive experience in housekeeping and property care. Starting as a housekeeper, he quickly advanced to Lead Housekeeper and then Housekeeper Manager at Drayton Mills Lofts — one of South Carolina’s most celebrated historic textile mill restorations turned into modern luxury apartments.
Over the past 10 years, Fred has overseen daily operations, seasonal refresh projects, and eco-friendly cleaning initiatives while always putting resident satisfaction first. His proactive approach and attention to detail help preserve the historic charm that makes Drayton Mills Lofts feel like home.

Fred’s son, Freddie Lowery (Class of 2026), is a varsity and AAU basketball player known for his versatility, discipline, humility, and strong work ethic. These qualities mirror the values Fred brings to work every day. “Watching our son play basketball is a proud moment for our family.”
