The North Carolina Music Factory (www.ncmusicfactory.com)is an $11 million rehabilitation of a historic mill site in Charlotte , North Carolina .  Encompassing a number of buildings spread over a 30-acre campus, this multi-phase project will ultimately include many restaurants, nightclubs, and galleries as well as residential units.  The ARK Group is developing the rehabilitation, which is expected to generate approximately $1.7 million in federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits as well as $2.5 million in North Carolina State Mill Rehabilitation Tax Credits.

 
Sherbert Group was engaged to line up an investor for the tax credits, to structure the deal, and to produce financial projections.  While the project is under development, Sherbert Group is and will be monitoring development accounting and producing year-end tax returns.
