Our Philosophies

• Specialization - We concentrate our resources by specializing our practice in the servicing of real estate developers in the tax credit industry (primarily the Historic Rehabiliation Tax Credit and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit).  By specializing in this industry, we have the knowledge and expertise to maximize the benefits of the tax credit program four our clients.
• Experience - We generally hire only experienced personnel.  With experience, our staff has the seasoning to better understand the issues that our clients have and to help create solutions for them.  They also know the right questions to ask and it allows us to have a more effective relationship with our clients.  On average, our personnel has over ten years of experience.
• Personnel Training - We provide extensive industry training to our personnel through our in-house training program.  We have 3 hours of training every week outside of tax season devoted exclusively to the issues that effect the tax credit industry.  From this training we devise effective procedures and identify tax opportunities for our clients.
• Development Monitoring - We provide accounting monitoring services for our clients throughout the entire development process of a project, rather than just coming in at the end of the project.  By being involved throughout the process, we are able to make sure that the accounting is being properly and timely booked, support documentation is properly maintained and budgets are properly monitored.  As a result, we are able to come in on the back end and quickly and efficiently complete the required cost certifications, audits and tax returns.
